May 15 – Mr. Travis Green (Product Manager, Google Wallet) posted an article on Google Commerce about sending money to your friends using Gmail account.
According to that article – “Google Wallet is now integrated with Gmail, so you can quickly and securely send money to friends and family directly within Gmail — even if they don’t have a Gmail address. It’s free to send money if your bank account is linked to Google Wallet or using your Google Wallet balance, and low fees apply to send money using your linked credit or debit card.”
How To Send Money In Gmail?
- Hover the attachment paperclip.
- Click the $ icon to attach money to your message.
- Enter the amount you wish to send and press send
You must at least 18 years old above and must be signed up for Google Wallet and you will need to have set up Google Wallet to send and receive money, Google Wallet Purchase Protection covers you 100% against eligible unauthorized payments. For more info. visit Google Wallet.
What do you think about that? Well! Since I’m a Blogger, Online Marketer, I’ve personally use PayPal to receive and send money online without any problem and as of now sending and receiving money through Gmail is available in a selected areas in U.S. only and you can also have this feature when your one of your friends send money to your account.
